But, they're not willing to punish GOOG because of their track record. Right, and it doesn't matter what goog does really, even if they did face some kind of short term blip in earnings or growth, the street is behind goog because everybody knows they are going to take the msft spot as the #1 tech name. People that short this stock neglect the power of that emotion. I heard from a good source that goog is hosting executives from other large companies in an attempt to show off Goog's "msft free" corporate environment. There are lots of takers for this.
