I have been encouraging SouixPal in PM to engage in rational discourse on this thread. I asked him to make reasoned inquiries and encouraged him when he did. I also have asked him to follow that up with substantial rational discussion supported with principled analysis. He started out doing real well a couple of days ago. I disapprove of that long list he provided because it is full of rational gaps and flaws. However, it is a good overview of left wing positions on bush, which has been the focus of his SI persona for quite some time now. Your responses were appropriate and I encouraged him in PM to pursue that. I hope he picks it up and that he enlists some support from like minded people. I am disappointed that so far he hasn't. I get really tired of the lw/rw flame fest and long for more substantive and growth oriented discussion. We need left wing liberals to take a more active role in helping us to move the country ahead. At the moment their irrational bash fests are paralysing to any constructive liberal causes. Gem
