Where have I said I take Byrne's side as gospel? "I do admire Byrne for sticking his neck out and going after scamming hedgies." Certainly sounds like you've made up your mind as to who's doing the "scamming". Hedgies are there to make very wealthy money managers. Funny, I'd think a "good, honest" hedge fund would have a second purpose (even if you consider it secondary), that being to enrich its investors. 99% is pretty high for anything. It's probably not literally true of the lawyers, either. That's why it's called a "joke". will you be writing your Congressman, the SEC and state AG's and asking for full investigations into these issues? Well if for some reason I wanted to make certain that nothing constructive came of any investigation, I'd be sure to get Congress involved. I've written the SEC, but who hasn't? And sorry to say, most state AG's are not Eliot Spitzer.
