Hedgies are there to make very wealthy money managers.

Funny, I'd think a "good, honest" hedge fund would have a second purpose (even if you consider it secondary), that being to enrich its investors.

It's probably not literally true of the lawyers, either. That's why it's called a "joke".

Well if for some reason I wanted to make certain that nothing constructive came of any investigation, I'd be sure to get Congress involved. I've written the SEC, but who hasn't? And sorry to say, most state AG's are not Eliot Spitzer.
