If the wealthys' share is growing faster than the pie is growing, then the wealthy are taking from the less fortunate. That statement doesn't make any sense. If I make X and you make 2 X, than you get a raise and make 2.5 X, while I take a cut and make .95x you didn't take anything from me. Read it again.....it makes perfectly good sense. If the pie is growing at the rate of X and the wealthy's share is growing at rate of X+1, then the wealthy's share of the pie is growing faster than the pie's rate........meaning that someone less fortunate has to give a portion of their share. ted
