They might have to on this one. There is going to be a torrent of emails to the Public Editor on this today. Krugman blatently misstates the newspapers's investigation results.

After getting one public scolding from the last Public Editor about his distortions, he can't afford another one.

do you think he can put his wild articles in nyt without some editors and management reviewing what is going in? this had support of nytimes management. no doubt about it.
