It's great fun to sit back and make those distinctions. But what bothers folk like Pipes is criticisms of Israel. And what he attacked were those self same criticisms.

Some times, however, criticism goes to the roots of things. It's still speech and still protected speech.

The "radical Islamists" line trotted out when folk don't agree with the criticisms is an exact anologue of McCarthyism.

By your logic, if I must accept Senator Biden's criticism of US foreign policy as acceptable (which I do, though I disagree with most of it), then I have no grounds not to accept the criticism of radical Islamists. This is moral cretinism.

What do you mean when you use the term "accept?"

Is it that you read and consider it or is that you accept their right to offer it? Help out a moral cretin here. Ed
