I mentioned the new Acer my wife bought a month or 2 back, the thing works perfect... As for me, I ran into a deal for 4 old Dell Inspiron 3500's and they work perfect as well for an old laptop to carry around and not worry if it gets wet, crushed, ripped, etc. All I did was buy a wireless & a 10/100 card for them, dump in some of my software and I can hook up just about anywhere. Very usable old laptops. Actually, I'm using one to type this, on the pier no less.
