This is a good article. I particularly like Brzenzki's quote. I would only make one addendum. Once CONSTITUTIONAL elections are in place, which are targeted for Jan'06, we should start implementing a withdrawal plan.

If the Iraqi gov't asks us to keep some presence there, we should limit that presence to advisors and trainers who never see frontline action. I'd like to see all combat troops out of Iraq by mid-2006 at the latest.

Then we can say, we did all we could to give the Iraqis a chance at freedom and democracy.
