Z, Yes, I would. What kind of logic is that, anyway? The point is that not everyone would do it voluntarily, and the system doesn't work unless everyone participates Surely it does. Maybe not for all 300 million people, but it surely does for 2 people: You and a cleaning lady of your choice. 2 people would be happier. You would not have a feeling of guilt, and the cleaning lady would certainly not refuse the cash. And you will succeed in creation of 2 person socialist mini-state. BTW, your hesitation makes me think you are not serious about your socialist ideas. How are you hoping to persuade others to try socialism on grand scale if you are not willing to do a small experiment involving 2 people? Joe
