Blue Bell ice cream is the absolute. I grew up with the stuff in Central Texas.

Ben and Jerry's can't hold a candle.

CB, I thought Blue Bell was in Lousiana, but didn't know if it was there before you moved, or if you visited home very much. It only got to Florida around 2 years ago.

I don't know about the cult stuff, but still swear that Blue Bell can be addictive.

Back in the 60s I could not stand Shiners because it was very bitter, but once that brewery had been acquired by Regal, I hear it was improved.
