Weekends are not vacation days. Thats what Michael Moore claimed. Not only that, just because a person works from home or telecommutes, doesn't make the day a vacation day.

you Condemocrats will pick out some obscure story and lie about anything won't you? There is no law saying that the President has to be in DC. Especially since all the congresscritters have left town, there is not anything he can do there that he cannot do in Texas...or one AF1, or wherever.

Ah, but if we could ONLY get Congress to vacation more. As you surely know a President gets no vacation, he can be reached anywhere, anytime and often is when a crisis develops. Now if we could get those airheads like Kerry, Kennedy, Boxer, Schmucker and the like to get out of town, I doubt anyone would TRY to reach them. jdn
