Check out the latest post (http://www.jasonbrzoska.com). It's an anecdote from a former IDF soldier I know -- he used to be stationed in Kfar Darom, in Gaza. I agree with everything he said. I understand what everyone is saying including you. And you know specifically how I feel about the Israelis living in the occupied territories; that it was a mistake pushed by Sharon and the Likud. That doesn't change the fact that I feel the anguish the settlers are feeling and can empathize with them. I know what's its like to a little extent what it is they are experiencing.......I went through something similar when I picked up from LA and had to start over in Seattle with no job, no connections etc. Its not easy and I did it voluntarily. Sure they set themselves up but still its difficult to see them weep and break down. Next is the WB and we all know that Sharon doesn't want to give that one up......at all. I think eventually they will negotiate....giving the Palestinians the entire WB except the Jerusalem suburbs in order to keep the Jerusalem suburbs. BTW how has Bill Maher changed his tune? ted
