The Military Sales Report Answers Some
but not all of your questions. In the first place, the "unit price" is shown and in most cases appears to be between $119.55 and $164.95 for 2005 sales. This pretty well HAS to represent the price of "single" F.A.S.T.-1's. In 2005 there were 39 items sold ( part of the 995 items sold to date) where the unit price was $1,649.50. I believe these were special training kits.
Personally I do not believe that there are thousands of F.A.S.T.-1 military sales lurking under a different NIIN number's. However, ANYTHING is possible and I look forward to you or others unearthing the rest. I've done MY bit!

naturalperson since you question the military numbers because they do not comport with the PRs lately or what you have been lead to believe why don't you call your buddy Mike and set and LOR and the rest of us straight that are gullible enough to believe that a source with nothing to gain either way is more reliable than the story/impression that Pyng has spoon fed/ shoveled to shareholders .

You know Mike's number give him a call and put the lie to LOR's and the government's military sales figures. Though I think it is telling that Mike has chosen not to come on the forum to set the record straight. I look forward to you contribution to the forum's knowledge base. While you are talking to him try to get the military sales figures for FY05 and FY04 by quarter to compare against LOR's figures.

Regards
Jack

FAST1 are sold in packs of 10 when the user expects to use 10 or more selling in 1s and 2s seems popular lately with the military as is certainly does not comport with Pyngs statement June 6, 2005-

"The roll-out of the TC3 training program will standardize the FAST1 throughout the US Army and is anticipated to lead to a significant increase in FAST1 orders. In addition, the US Air Force and the US Navy Corpsmen working with the US Marine Corps will be exposed to and utilizing the identical training scheme and thus standardizing on the FAST1.

....With the FAST1 now firmly entrenched as the standard Intraosseous device for the US military, Pyng Medical expects to see significant accelerated adoption of the FAST1 in both the domestic US civilian EMS community as well as adoption by foreign military services as they recognize the standardization being taken by the United States Department of Defense."

After 3 months the standardization does not seem to have bumped sales much as a matter of fact they have comparatively gone down from the same 3 months last year imagine that.
