John - Great post. I gonna file that one. I know that I am one those "newbies" that really wants to help find some quality companies with quality management. The problem I am full of enthusiasm to do DD but low on experience. I know you guys get tried of "how do you feel about ABCD?" or "WXYZ has a really attractive price, huh?". Is it possible that the Good Fellas here could all throw in what matters most to them when DDing a company. A check-off list. The things that are RED FLAGS and deal breakers - kinda like a 1:100,000 R/S. Also, the kinda things that are green lights like "company plans to retire 50,000,000 shares". Thanks for any tips.
