But do you have any proof that Pipes is ever mistaken in his identification of De Genova's a nut type of university faculty.

There is, it seem to me, a typical reaction in many liberals in response to those who pursue truth like Mr. Pipes.

De Genova's a nut, and I don't think he's typical of the type of people you find on a university faculty.

If there weren't so many trying to defend the Churchill's and De Genova's, I might actually agree with you and JohnM on this one. The difference is that while I agree with the sentiment of free speech expressed by Voltaire - I don't think he had these nuts in mind :-)

We have seen JohnM's comments on Ann Coulter's Sept 2001 article on what we should do with ME, but with all due respect she isn't teaching. Ward Churchill and De Genova may be extreme, but they are hardly unique and we are funding them.
