I do realize your posts about sentiment are only "FWIW" and that you don't really follow it so no bets are applicable...too bad.-g FIWI the bullish sentiment extremes that I am looking for did in fact hit in Jan 2004 which lead to a high which lasted for many months, I would expect to at least some similar readings before a decent top is in and oddly enough I am now seeing bearish extremes commensurate with August 2004. Also FWIW, not only do I think we haven't topped but I see "risk" of significant upside, and that's even if those ED's are in play. A throwover is always expected and another 100 points onto the SPX is possible in such a throwover.
