True... but that doesn't change the reality. It's tough for people here, the housing, medical, insurance (just got a 7% surcharge for the entire state on property insurance) and gasoline costs are going through the roof, and salaries are close to flat.

A lot of folks that were just getting by are not getting by anymore.


Yes, I understand. I was only pointing out that FLA is at the early stages of this growth in housing prices. Some of the inequities will flatten out over time; others will not, forcing people out of the state. Its not pleasant for those people; unfortunately, its part of the inequities found in a capitalist economy. For states that have coastlines or mountains, housing prices will continue to go up into the forseeable future.
