I don't think it does. I think it smacks of fairness, treating everyone with respect, taking care of each other. Employers making sure that ALL their employee's, the people creating their wealth, are making a livable wage.

And if the employer is in a business that is in very low margin / no margin, very labor intensive, and pays what you would say sub-living wage, should this employer just shut down and let all of the employees go? On welfare?
