Retrieving malleable stem cells from sources that do not require the death of humans is an area that American scientists can excel above the rest of the world. We can buy into the ideals that require a little more work, and a lot more ethical attention. Shortcutters from the rest of the world might beat us to the first punch, but the shot below the belt motivate us to raise the bar.
