But Moses did not scoff! Every time fatigue pulled down the hand of Moses, Amalek would begin to win the battle. In order for Joshua to put the Amalekites to the "edge of the sword"--a very good thing--it was necessary that Aaron and Hur each hold up one of the hands of Moses so that magic could prevail. I don't know why atheists find it so difficult to accept that God would let Joshua lose the good fight, if Moses could NOT keep his hands up? Leaders do not walk around with their hands in their pockets, do they? Look at President Nixon? When he flashed his victory signs, where were his hands? In his pockets? Hanging by his side? Think about it. So how does humanity learn the necessity of raising your hands in war unless the consequences are the "edge of the sword?" God knows what we need to know, and God alone decides whether wars are won or lost. Today we need to remember the lesson that God taught Moses and Joshua: Keep your hands UP. Let Lucifer read them their damn Wanda rights or whatever they call it. 17:11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 17:12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. 17:13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. Bless Jesus! The atheist is refuted once again! EeekBaptist
