BTW how has Bill Maher changed his tune? Back in May he was saying over and over, "You gotta admit, between Syria getting out of Lebanon and an Iraqi election, Bush is starting to look like he knows what he's doing here." That's what's disturbing. As soon as a positive thing or two pops up, people start to second guess themselves [me included] and think Bush was right. Rarely, does something turn out right when it was started on the basis of lies and was executed poorly. And of course, there is a bigger issue here.......how long is this country going to allow this ideology of hate and xenophobia to rule America's foreign policy? It went on during the Cold War and now the Bushies are trying to reinstate it with great success. If American truly believes in peace, and I suspect it doesn't, then it needs to come from peace at in all times and only act aggressively when its been attacked legitimately. ted
