Brazilian market broke under political scandal pressure. Actually, it could have done worse considering the gravity of the political (not economic) crises. This is the sort of thing which makes investing in most emerging markets so risky. Its just a different word with different investment considerations. Oh yes, another drawback is the costs of investing are higher too. Thanks for the update. Bogtalk P.s. Of course, to be fair, the US has its pitfalls too. Consider Merck and the Vioxx case.
