Nice thinking... I should have known you are not looking at wiggles.. -g. Yes, a large "C" up from here would fit in very well. I'd say that new recovery highs from here would be a strong argument that such a move may be underway.

But you do realise, don't you, that I'll try confuse things a little, and throw in a monkey wrench?... -g. Look at IBM starting with the ATH in 1999. Label the 2002 low as "A" - and the February 2004 top as "B". From this POV, we may be setting up for a major decline.

But, to reiterate, new recovery highs from here would be bullish (again, unless it is a big clumsy 2 of 3). For now, I'll wait to see what goes first - 77-78, or 85.
