chinu. You said...."I would be interested in knowing what he things is the reason that anti-US feelings are rampant in Muslim communities mainly poor ones such as Ethiopia, Sudan and Pakistan.".....

Don't know what the pope thinks but in all likelyhood he thinks the same as I and most of the free sane world.....muslims in the areas you mention and elsewhere are taught to hate the free world from birth....how do you think moslum mullahs get kids to strap bombs on themselves and go out and commit mass murder in the stupid belief that they will be rewarded in some paradise somewhere for murder. are the countries you mention considered by you to be so called moderate moslum countries? If the kids uneducated by islam mullahs were raised and educated in a free society do you think they would still grow up to be radical muslims?

A kid is a kid no matter where they are from and it is IMO a crime to teach them hate of all others who are not like them.

It is not poverty IMO but radical islam teaching that creates hatred.... and as you may have noticed not all the crazies are/were poor people....if you are taught from birth to believe certain things you have no choice but to believe what you have been taught no matter how stupid it is.

The big problem as I see it is proper education in the world of islam..... much easier to control people who are kept in the dark about the real world.
