Wow, that's really sad. I enjoyed Steven's posts over many years on SI.

We didn't agree very often, but he was a very thoughtful and gifted writer who shared a lot of interesting perspectives. I hope he kept his job and is just quietly monitoring the thread these days. If so, Take Care Steven, I'll miss you.
