In WWII the definition of victory was clear. In Iraq no victory is possible except for the Islamic fundamentalists that will take over the country or the Kurds that will declare independence to start Kurdistan. The Sunnis will be decimated and end up on the perpetual welfare roles of the US just like Israel. The Sunni region has no natural resources and nothing to sustain them.
