Forrest Gump was a good movie, as most of Hank's movies are. I think every American should be required to see "Saving Private Ryan," even if it was made by a left wing producer. Hanks is going to make "The Da Vinci Code." I read the book, and it was a barn burner, er page turner. Every chapter ended with a hook to keep you reading. I'm not sure I cotton to the premise of the book, but I had to view it as a work of fiction. I remember the era when hippies were in flower. I deliberately kept my hair cut short just to make sure nobody associated me with them. I was at Woodstock, believe it or not-- the year before the big love in. It was a quiet town and I loved it.
