I wasn't saying that he did care. I just think he should- but obviously he doesn't, and equally obviously some people, in this democracy, are comfortable with a leader ignoring the will of the people- and when ignoring that will concerns a war, a war the people's children are expected to fight, I consider that anathema to democracy and freedom- two of the very special "values" we are supposed to be bringing to the rest of the world.

I think it will be great if America survives this Bush presidency.

So, you are suggesting that America may not survive the next three years? I'm not sure what that means.

Are you suggesting that the USA will erupt in civil war in the next three years and that parts of the country will secede and we will no longer have the same territorial boundaries?

Are you suggesting that all Americans will somehow be killed off and the country will be a barren wasteland?

Are you suggesting that a nuclear WW III will erupt and the country will be destroyed?

If not one of those, how are you suggesting that the country will fail to survive the next three years?
