Assuredly, I will pray for your brother. If he already has made the comment that God never closes a door without opening a window, he is a marvel of faith in the "furnace". >>An attached garage, which held thousands of dollars in tools and equipment was spared any damage<< God limited the loss ! >>Last night as his house was burning, the man purchasing the other house was calling. << There are no coincidences with God. In all things give him praise and honor and glory. >.I hope this situation can be used to draw him closer to God. << I loose it now in the name of Jesus that this situation as Unsettling and distrubing as it be used to draw your brother to the Lord. I cannot say that I have lost a house before however I can honestly say that I have lost large sums of money before, twice, not once by making risky investments. The first time the Lord returned the money to me in four years. The second time its been four years already and I am not even close to getting the loss back. I know the Lord will make amends for the losses I took but apparently He is making me wait longer this time...not apparently but IS. I believe that the Lord is speaking to your brother in this situation. Tell Him ....and you can give this to him (if you wish, and if in your judgement he will not be offended ) . Tell him if he will fast and pray and seek the Lord during this time that the Lord is going to do all these things for him. The Lord is going to give him a sixfold restoration. First he is going to stock up his shelves with blessing and plenty. He shall not be made a reproach among men. The Lord has multiple plans to prosper him and bring him no harm. As an ernest deposit the Lord will remove an enemy from him who resides from the north of him. This person will no longer bring him pain or suffering or torment. Another sign of the Lords provision will be a plentiful harvest from the tree and the vine. The Lord will cause the former and the latter rain to come down in abundance and his floors will be stacked with goods. The Lord will restore to him the years that the canker worm( which is the worm stage of the locust ) has taken from him and also what the locust has taken from him. Tell him the size of the blessing is determined by the size of the loss. As great was the army that brought the destruction a greater army will be used to bring him blessings. The Lord he is your brothers God and there is none like him and none before him. He shall eat in plenty and he shall never be ashamed. The material restoration will come first and then and only them shall come a spiritual restoration. Last the Lord will show him the things to come in visions and in dreams. Tell him to hold fast to these dreams and visions and that for the Lord is going to deal wonderously with him. In Christ...Gregor
