Few businesses have such tight margins. And when they do, they usually fold in due time. As for the rest, they are making money hand over fist.

You seem to have a very idealized impression of what it takes to run a business, and makes money hand over fist.

Huh? I look at margins all the time. The kind of tight margins that you refer to are typically found only in the supermarket business. Of course, there are some companies in other industries that have those kind of margins but they are the exception to the rule. Most other companies that are not failing make money hand over fist........billions, maybe trillions each year.

Sorry but I won't be crying for big business in America any time soon. No where else on the planet do they have it as good as right here in the US of A.

To find out that is not the case often, or actually in majority of cases, just look up at the name of the thread. It only goes downhill from there in most cases.

Yeah, thanks but no thanks. AMD is one of those exceptions....actually, its a crazy exception within an exception. It typlifies nothing.
