Steve, You give the janitor money, he is still a janitor....

Very few liberals who own or manage businesses will even do that. Ask billionaire George Soros how much he pays his janitors. I'll bet it's not much more than the going rate.

LOL. Excuse me. One more time...........cash is a very liquid commodity. University degrees are not. You can't transfer degrees from one person to the next like you can money. I understand why you are ignoring this logic. Nonetheless, ignoring it won't make the argument go away nor change the reality. Sorry.

No,
you're missing the point.

Think outside the box and tell the janitor to get his own degree. Throwing money at the problem by giving it away never solves the problem. If it did, you democrats would have something to show for your forty year welfare giveaway. You give the janitor money, he is still a janitor....

Here we go again.....you're changing the argument once again. You wanted my degree. I said you can't have my degree because degrees are not tranferable. Now you talking about throwing money at the janitor and not transferring degrees. Why can't you admit you were wrong before starting a new subject? Of course if you did, then you wouldn't have voted for Bush.

Let me make clear to you if the janitor was given a couple of million dollars like Gates, he wouldn't need a degree.

Gates made choices. The janitor made choices....

Then there you are.....

Nope. Gates had great choices. If the janitor had choices, they were not nearly as great as Bill's. That's the real truth about living in America. We are not born equal........some are born to better circumstances than others and it shows. Furthermore, those inequalities are hard to overcome.

So offering the janitor a scholarship to college doesn't make him more likely to go to school and get a degree?

Did you have the chance to make the same "choices" that Bill Gates did?
