With another 9 days to go, the number of US troops killed in Iraq this month is already at 69. The corresponding numbers for August 2004 were 66 and for August 2003, it was 35.

Thanks to Dumbya "Mission Accomplished" Bush, Donald "Dead Enders" Rumsfeld, Condi "Mushroom" Rice and Dick "Last Throes" Effingman. Not to forget Paul "Brown pants" Wolfowitz and a whole bunch of fellow neocons, too numerous to mention.
