Probably a typo on Voodoos site.

AMDs positioning of the high-end MT products is for "mobile gaming". The message I receive is MT-based thin and light books are strong performers when it comes to high CPU loads versus the competition - but not necessarily competitive to Centrino when it comes to battery life for office-workloads (not only from CPU-characteristics, but also grafics- and platform-specs). So the lead AMD takes is limited to a performance subsegment of the notebook market.

Insofar, I do not see a threat to Intels cash-cows from MT-books. HPs nx6125 is a threat indeed though, although not equipped with MT currently.

Anyway, the gap is narrowing. Nobody knows better than me, owning an AMD64 notebook-design from 2003. :-)
