I certainly am in the bear camp.

But must say that I find it hard to envision a really big drop in stocks unless TNX yields move up considerably.

The level of rates is just as important as the shape of the yield curve IMHO. An inverted curve at 4.2% TNX is not nearly as bearish for stocks and real estate as an inverted curve at 5% TNX.

My oldest daughter & son-in-law here in Colorado just bought a house at a lower elevation (present house, just sold was at 9,000' with the last big snow the 1st week in June...she was getting cabin fever with her 3 boys [oldest being 5]).

The house they bought has been on the market since June 3. Seller dropped price (with a little haggling) from $510K to $440K.
