Ted, You can see another reflection of high density in the rapid acceptance of mass transit in LA.

I just got here, so I'll have to take your word for it. To me, L.A. is still a far cry from even San Francisco, much less NYC or Washington, D.C.


I understand. Appearances can be deceiving. The better tell than the look of the housing is the traffic on the freeways. Like I said to Z, freeways in the West double as parking garages.......that's esp. true in S. CA where the freeways are often ten lanes wide and bumper to bumper.
