It's an unwinnable situation. Let the terrorists hang bush and give them their mess back. Bush declared war on Saddam, not Iraq, and ended up biting up much more than he ever imagined. Meanwhile, he mountain bikes in TX while US soldiers die. Re: ramifications. Iraq will likely fall back to where it was no matter when we pull out. Let the Middle East deal with Iraq. We can deal with our enemies as we need, WHEN we need. If we see an imminent threat, we can deal with it in a lot more prudent fashion. Saddam should have been invited to dinner
