<... inflation of everything we need and deflation of everything we have> A little so intensive sense of humor. That would be Sir Alan and BBB (big-mouthed Ben Bernanke)'s wildest dreams turning true, Jack! In light of Big Al's conundrum, chance of this scenario is slim, if any. Wouldn't that make Au/Ag lustful?

Housing stocks - I think we are getting to where we might buy a few puts on housing stocks - selectively...

Koizumi's polls look good, so he may be able to stop the postal saving from indirectly funding the US housing market, and have it fund Japan recovery instead.

However KBH and TOL and some others look WEIRD -

HOV looks like it could drop.

US treasuries may drop back down with higher interest rates.

There are sure to much better shorts than housing stocks.

GOOG looks tempting, and if it were an ordinary stock, I might be buying puts soon.

But I expect the Hardy boys have something up their sleeve...

So i want to see a bounce up first.
