I call it "The Narcissists Admiration Society."

I do have a great respect for the craft of movie making, especially when it's done well. People who draw in an audience should be compensated accordingly, even when they are behind the scenes.

However, they should leave their politics at home.

I've met a precious few Hollywood types; most were associated with "The Dukes of Hazzard" (original). Even a comedy like that takes tremendous effort by an unbelievable number of people.

I noticed one thing about those people: They live, breath, sweat, put their pants on one leg at a time, eat, pee, and poop just like the rest of us. Some are downright decent people just trying to earn a living.

Celebrity worship is revolting. The ones who love it are the ones I try to avoid when I choose movies to attend.
