<Also if you really want dirt cheap it is shocking how inexpensive the small towns only 75 miles north of Atlanta going towards the Blue Ridge mountains are>

Only have to go out 30 miles in Charlotte, NC to get the low prices.

Or in my case nonexistent buyers.

1500 sq ft brick ranch, built with good solid wood in 1969, 3 br, 2 bath, garage, covered 10x15 porch, 3/4 acre, newish roof, new paint, new carpet and hardwood floors, one very slightly unfinished bathroom remodel due to one trip to the emergency room, etc. Rental history at $790 per month.

Zero offers in 4 months on markIt at $109,900.

This where one of my WPB neighbors move - north ga mountains after selling his house - he sold it 8 years ago - literally had a heart attck last year - I think after he see how much his house went up - funny thing is he was real estate guy for 20 years in WPB before he retired - talk about missing the BIG ONE! HAHA! 20 year experience in local market and couldn't see it coming!! He said crime had got too bad though, and he probably be dead now if he had stay in WPB for the past 8 years from all the stress. last year his mom was out on his porch - overlooking the mountains - very old - fell off the porch and rolled down the mountain - didn't kill her - told son she was not used to living in hilly areas - HAHA - too funny.
