You realize that gas prices still have not reached the peak if adjusted for inflation? Real shock begins north of $4, not here yet.

Whatever. There is no such thing as "peak energy". If US citizens were not outspoken "not in my back yard BUT I still want TONS of energy" &^$$&^&^, US would have a lot of new nuclear power stations and possibly even new transmission infrastructure. Now they have none. But US electrical system woes did not start BECAUSE of peak oil, they started because of politics.

Let's not blame all world's problems on "Peak Oil" Jurgis
