FYI ... I ran across "Oppression" in Canadian Corporate Law recently. See the link at the bottom of this post.

I've taken the following quote from the paper:

"According to section 241(2)(c) of the CBCA, the court can grant a remedy if the powers of the directors of the corporation or any of its affiliates are or have been exercised in a manner that is oppressive or unfairly prejudicial to or that unfairly disregards the interests of any security holder, creditor, director or officer."
