Wonderful comments and the reason I am here day after day. OTOneH, Mish is right in that we have overcapacity which could lead to deflation if we get a recession. To counter that is the folly of the fed to drop money upon as if there is no tomorrow - which is indeed inflationary. It's as if the two sides are competing and the stakes, as in a poker match to the end, continue to be raised. It seems those of who moved to be debt free are a minority.
