SI Bob, re "Go to mm/dd/yy"

I like it ... and think it will see a lot of use. I like that the leading zeroes can be dropped. Also that yy = 2005 works just as well yy = 5. Good job.

But I have one suggestion.

Put the first message that meets the date criteria at the bottom of the list ... just like the reply # specified is put at the bottom of the list. A decision would need to be made about what to do if the list is then "too short". Keep "it" at the bottom of the list ... or expand the list to the "standard" and let "it" fall where it may. I would vote for whichever is easiest and/or requires the least code.

Ron

It works great whether you put in yy or yyyy but if the date is a future date, it goes to the first message of the thread. Is that intended? If so, that's probably better than ERROR. But the last message would be logical. Or a Screen of "Not Yet" would work.

I was actually thinking to open to the actual message, not the list of 40 with the "date" message at the top.

But this is time-saving enough that it is certainly OK.

For the Golf thread I wanted to go back to the postings around a particular tournament date. So the list of 40 may even be better, by giving a broader view of the postings at and prior to the inputted date.

SI Bob, while you're on the subject.aspx page, can you focus the cursor in one ot the input boxes?

The search text box is the most frequently used, I would guess. With duplicate reply# boxes, that's likely the least problematic anyway.
