Ted, I heard that this morning, and I knew I was going to hear it from you guys. ;-)

Anyway, I can usually explain away a lot of Pat Robertson's comments, but this one baffles me to no end.

Its a pretty crazy comment.

I suppose it would make just a bit of sense if there was a real prospect of war with/in Venezuela and if the assassination would prevent it. An assassination probably wouldn't be as negative as open war, but war with Venezuela is unlikely, and assassination wouldn't be likely to improve the situation, so the statement really doesn't make a lot of sense.
