It looks like H5N1 has entered Finland. There is no vaccine against H5N1 wild bird flu and the political repercussions will be severe when the public realizes that they are being played for fools

Yes, the vaccine being tested worldwide is directed against H5N1 from Vietnam. It won't work against the H5N1 being carried worldwide by migratory birds. The latest news is that H5N1 has been detected in Bulgaria (and dead gulls are showing up at second site in Finland).

Of note is the fact that one banding study showed a bird banded in Finland popping up in Texas. These birds know how to get around
