Dissappointment because it won't be 5 times FASTER (people will remember 5x and think it applies to the speed).
Of course it will be a very good processor, but mostly because it is more power efficient, not because it is much faster.

Keith, can't you see that that slide is cooked? CINT of Smithfield is 20% lower than Prescott despite the fact that Smithfield is dual core. CINT-Rate is 60% better. The slide on Anandtech that also shows Conroe performing 3.5 times better than Smithfield, also shows that Smithfield performs only 20% better than Prescott in 'Integer performance per watt', and Smithfield did not have that much higher TDP than Prescott to make the CINT-Rate measurement a possibility. So what integer measurement tool are they using? Is it a new one maybe that measures optimal int performance per watt? How on earth can anyone base on conclusion on not knowing what is measured?
