I would be. If he did, I wouldn't be surprised to see another Clinton in the White House.

I would probably vote for Gullianni before McCain. In a race between Clinton (the one who assaulted the President) and almost anyone I would vote against Clinton. McCain should not count on my vote. If Democrats fielded someone more conservative than him, that candidate would get my vote. 2/3 of the Senate are more conservative than McCain.

he could be perceived as an eisenhower figure.....after WWII the country felt the need for a leader with strong military background...

the dems tried in 2004 to run a 'military' candidate in kerry, unfortunately for them, he was just a terribly flawed candidate who appeared weak and vacillating
