IMHO: Minnesota - home of the approx. 80% homeownership rate (and growing) & ultra optimism to infinity & beyond.

There seems to be so many of these amateur investors here than there are actual homeowners who can actually hold on to these properties long term.

Buyer Beware... at least in Minnesota

Good luck to this Minnesota investor you mentioned as he will need it.

IMHO: Got a friend who is still trying to rent his bungalow in Minneapolis and its been months with no leads!

FYI, there was a condo crash in Minneapolis in the 1980's but people around here dislike talking about anything negative. Personally, I would rather be prepared than be shocked and then lose my shirt.
