Good question. Undoubtedly rhetorical, too, but there are days when I think it will become a very boring place where all potential risk has been eliminated and it is illegal to hurt someone's feelings. It won't be a very happy place but by God every last one of us will be safe as safe can be, whether we like it or not. (It won't be very creative at that point, either.)

I'm not familiar with HIIPA, but I do know the Act gives many health care providers the heebeejeebees about any sort of release of medical information.
