Who didn't know that he was using drugs? They all do. Bike riding is a very corporate, drug-dominated sport. Not clean, like pro wrestling.

I still like the way he dumped his wife after she stood by him during his cancer fight.

But the guy sure can ride a bicycle.

Tour Chief Says Armstrong Owes Explanation

Oh for God's sake people. This is the French who are just a little bit put out by the fact that it was an American who won all those 7 straight tours (and not a guy like Richard "à mon insu" Virenque...) and whose journalists were caught trying to plant drugs in Lance's hotel room in one of his early tours.

Leblanc knows very well that the issue with those '99 urine samples was settled and was due to Lance's cancer treatment.

The reason Lance has won all these tours is he concentrated single mindedly on only the tour, and nothing else. For example, last year, when he won the Alpe d'Huez stage, he had ridden it in training that year over 2 dozen times. None of the other competition prepared the way Lance and his team did.

Remember, Indurain won 5 straight tours also by concentrating only on the tour. It's such a difficult event that it's almost impossible to win it and also win other major stage races in the same year any more, as riders in the past did, when drugs were widely used and not tested for in cycle racing.

Lance leaving his wife for Cheryl Crow has nothing to do with any of this, but this doping "scandal" stuff is simple sour grapes.
